MAINLINE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQS)

    1.       How durable are Mainline finishes?  

    Chrome:  Same proven polished chrome plating process used throughout the industry to ensure a
    tough/long lasting finish.  

    Brushed Nickel and Oil Rubbed Bronze:  Both are protected by “dura- coat”, a tough post finish coating that
    locks-in Mainline’s rich finishes for years of trouble free enjoyment.
     
    2.       What are the recommended care and cleaning instructions for Mainline finishes?  

    For best results simply use warm water and a soft cloth to clean the finish.  Gently dry/buff with a soft
    clean cloth.  Avoid ammonia based cleaning materials as well as harsh detergents.

    3.       Does Mainline have metal pop-up drains?  

    Yes, all Mainline pop-up drains are made of long-lasting, heavy-duty brass.  We do not sell 50/50 or
    plastic pop-up drains.  

    4.       Briefly describe Mainline’s consumer warranty program.  

    The two-year Mainline warranty commences from date of purchase and applies to the original owner

    5.       Are Mainline deep rough valve extensions available?

    Yes, deep rough extensions are available on most in-wall valves…please call your nearest Hajoca
    location for additional information.  See Hajoca location map under  “where to buy” navigation button.  

    6.       What kind of cartridges does Mainline use and are they interchangeable with other manufacturers?  

    Mainline faucets are equipped with precision high quality washerless valves to maintain drip free flow
    control.  For optimum performance and to honor warranty requirements, please insist on genuine
    Mainline branded replacement parts.

    7.       Can Mainline in-wall valves be installed back-to-back?  

    Absolutely!  The valves are back-to-back capable by turning the cartridge 180 degrees.

    8.       Does Mainline provide faucet displays and/or pods?  

    Mainline black metal display pods are available for showroom and counter display use at a nominal
    charge.  Pricing is provided on Mainline price sheet and quotes are available from any Hajoca location.  
    The display pods are designed to hang on slot wall or to sit on counter top.  To minimize damage,
    faucets and display pods are packaged separately and should be mounted upon receipt.  

    9.       Is Mainline Logo Signage available?  

    Mainline signage is available from any Hajoca outlet and pricing is provided on Mainline price sheets.  

    10.    What is a pressure-balance valve?  

    Pressure-balance valves are designed to protect bathers from sudden changes in water temperature
    and especially from surges caused by flushing of toilets, etc.  The most important function of a pressure-
    balance valve is to protect bathers from scalding conditions brought about by sudden changes in water
    temperatures.  Pressure-balance valves are required by code in most areas of the Country for new
    construction.  

    11.    Should I need repair parts for a Mainline faucet, how do I determine the model number?
     
    If you do not have the box or installation instructions which provides model number information, take a
    digital photo of your faucet and proceed to the nearest Hajoca location for assistance in looking up your
    model number.  Alternatively, take a digital photo of the faucet and call the parts hotline (1-888-328-
    2383).  They will provide instructions to e-mail the digital photo to a parts specialist for model number
    look-up.  

    12.    Is there a charge for Mainline repair parts and where do I go to make a purchase?

    All Mainline parts covered under warranty are free of charge.  There may be a small charge for parts not
    covered under warranty.  Call the parts hotline for details (1-888-328-2383).
